December hard red winter wheat last traded 1/2 cent lower at $4.88 a bushel. * Minneapolis December spring wheat ended 3 cents lower at $5.51 per bushel. * The ongoing U.S. government shutdown deprived traders of crucial data on exports, demand and harvest progress, making investors wary of making big moves in the market and keeping prices largely range-bound. * Farm office FranceAgriMer on Wednesday lowered its forecasts for end-of-season stocks of French soft wheat, barley and maize for the 2025/26 season, citing strong export demand for the three cereals.
