Bank of England proposes new rules for stablecoins

LONDON (Reuters) -The Bank of England said on Monday that issuers of systemic stablecoins would be able to invest up to 60% of the assets backing the digital currencies in short-term government debt, as part of a set of proposals it detailed for regulating the sector.
