What Happened at Bondi Beach

The shooting unfolded on Sunday evening near Campbell Parade, a popular area overlooking Bondi Beach. Hundreds of families had gathered for “Hanukkah by the Sea,” a public celebration attended by children, elders, and community leaders.

Witnesses reported hearing rapid gunfire as panic spread through the crowd. People ran in all directions, seeking shelter in nearby streets, cafés, and parking areas. Emergency services arrived within minutes, while police moved quickly to neutralise the attackers.
