Podcaster Joe Rogan, known as a supporter of Donald Trump, has raised doubts about claims that Renee Nicole Good tried to run over ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who shot her dead in Minneapolis. Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, was fatally shot after she allegedly struck Ross with her vehicle. The Trump administration maintains that Ross acted in self-defense.
Describing the incident as a “terrible tragedy,” Rogan discussed it during an interview with Republican Senator Rand Paul on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, which aired on January 13. “It’s very ugly to watch someone shoot a U.S. citizen, especially a woman, in the face. I’m not that guy. I don’t know what he thought. And again, this is a guy who had almost been run over, but it just looked horrific to me,” he said. Rogan later questioned whether Good had actually tried to hit Ross, saying, “When people say it’s justifiable because the car hit him? It seemed like she was turning the car away.”
