Renault India is set to bring back one of its most iconic SUVs with the launch of the new Renault Duster on Republic Day 2026. The third-generation Renault Duster marks its return to the competitive mid-size SUV segment in India. The older model was discontinued in 2022, and the new iteration is expected to combine nostalgia with modern upgrades to capture buyer interest.

The India-spec Duster is tailored to local needs, with updated styling, a reworked interior, and new engine options, including a potential hybrid. Renault aims to compete with rivals like the Tata Sierra, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
