Chilling first images from Baramati, where the plane crashed, show the parts of crashed plane and scattered wreckage of the charter plane that crashed this morning, killing Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar and five others onboard. The aircraft was arriving from Mumbai to Baramati and attempted an emergency landing around 8:45 am before it went off the runway and burst into pieces.

Emergency responders reached the scene quickly, pulling debris and searching for survivors as smoke rose from the crash site. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has confirmed that all six people on board died in the accident.
