  • The Bank of China opened its London branch, which now serves as the second RMB clearing bank in the United Kingdom.
  • The two parties agreed to host the China-UK Insurance Forum as a joint event.
  • Whisky Tariff Cut and Visa Talks China will reduce whisky import tariffs from 10% to 5%, which British exporters view as a beneficial development.
  • UK citizens will benefit from Beijing’s active discussions about implementing a visa waiver, which will simplify their travel process.
