Delhi remains under a Yellow Alert on January 31, 2026, as a fresh Western Disturbance influences the region, bringing unsettled weather with fog, rain, and thunderstorms.

The day is expected to begin with moderate to dense fog, with visibility in some areas dropping below 200 metres, followed by generally cloudy skies that may become fully overcast by afternoon or evening.

Light rain or drizzle is likely later in the day, with a strong chance of thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds developing towards night. Daytime temperatures are projected to peak around 21°C, while the minimum may dip to 7–8°C, accompanied by brisk winds of 30–40 kmph that could intensify to 50–60 kmph in isolated areas during stormy spells.
