Union Budget 2026:  Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled the Union Budget 2026-27 on Sunday, February 1, 2026, which is her ninth consecutive Budget presentation, a record in the history of India. This year, the Budget addressed the issues of enhancing higher education and women-led entrepreneurship, in addition to the strategies for improving economic growth in all sectors.

The Finance Minister stressed three important duties, speeding up and maintaining economic growth, meeting the aspirations of citizens, and ensuring that every family, community, and area has access to the resources and opportunities required to take part in the progress of India.
