Who Was Chuck Negron?

Chuck Negron was born on June 8, 1942, in the Bronx, New York. He spent his childhood in orphanages according to his difficult upbringing. His musical career started through doo-wop music, which he performed with The Rondells. In 1967, he co-founded Three Dog Night with Danny Hutton and Cory Wells. The band attained enormous popularity, which enabled them to sell more than 60 million records while they achieved 21 Top-40 hits between 1968 and 1975. Negron launched his solo career after departing from the band, and he wrote his memoir, Three Dog Nightmare, after he defeated heroin addiction in 1991.
