Epstein Files Latest Update: The House Judiciary Committee hearing became controversial because Attorney General Pam Bondi presented a printed search history that she allegedly obtained from Rep. Pramila Jayapal. Photos showed Bondi with a black binder labeled “Jayapal Pramila Search History,” which contained document numbers that corresponded to files about Jeffrey Epstein.

The incident raised questions about whether the Department of Justice (DOJ) tracked congressional searches within its Epstein documents database.

Washington state Democratic Congressman Jayapal criticized the situation with strong disapproval. In a post on X, she said it was “totally inappropriate and against the separation of powers” for the DOJ to monitor members of Congress reviewing Epstein files.

She accused Bondi of bringing a “burn book” that contained her search documents, which she described as an “outrageous” act. Jayapal said she plans to pursue the matter further.
