A proud Mitchell Starc was seen clapping for his wife Alyssa Healy in the commentary box after a century in her final ODI as 7cricket shared a video of the same. Starc, who has been commentating in the entire series, could be seen wearing an emotion of pride as the veteran keeper-batter flexed her batting muscles in the third ODI against India at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart.
Alyssa Healy top-scores to power Australia to a behemoth total
Although Healy scored a tidy half-century in the series-opener, she perished for a single-figure score in the second ODI. But the Queenslander ensured to take the opportunity by the scruff of the neck to punish the reigning world champions. Healy got to the three-figure for the eighth time in ODIs in the 31st over of the innings off 79 balls with a boundary off Deepti Sharma’s bowling. The Aussie cricketer also reached the 150-run mark only off 95 deliveries. She was eventually dismissed for 158. Beth Mooney also compiled a century, hitting a 84-ball 106, while Georgia Voll struck a brisk 62 as the hosts mustered 409/7 in 50 overs.

India deliver a meek batting performance to lose series 3-0
Meanwhile, the tourists capitulated without putting much of a fight, with none of their batters scoring a half-century. Sneh Rana top-scored with 44, while the next best was Jemimah Rodrigues, who made 42. Alana King was the pick of the Aussie bowlers with figures of 10-1-33-4, while Georgia Wareham took a couple. Nicola Carey, Annabel Sutherland and Ashleigh Gardner took one scalp apiece to inflict a 185-run defeat to India.
The following one-off Test will commence on March 6 in Perth.
