“Wintry conditions and low temperatures in the early morning have the potential to create conditions for ice on roadways and other surfaces,” said interim superintendent Dr Charles Malone.
“Temperatures are forecast to rise above freezing later in the morning. With safety as our top priority, the delay gives time for travel conditions to improve and our operations staff to thoroughly treat our campuses.” Officials expect road conditions to improve later in the morning as temperatures rise.
