The Los Angeles Lakers earned their third straight win with a 110-101 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, finishing the game with a strong fourth-quarter performance. The Lakers were trailing by nearly double digits in the final quarter but turned things around in impressive fashion. They closed the game on a dominant 24-7 run to seal the win. Defence played a big role, as Los Angeles recorded 12 blocks in total, including six in the fourth quarter alone. Ball control also improved late in the game. After committing 20 turnovers in the first three quarters, the Lakers had just one in the final period.

The game started with both teams hitting three-pointers. Trey Murphy III got off to a quick start for New Orleans, while LeBron James led the Lakers early. The Pelicans held a small lead at the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Lakers found their rhythm. LeBron took charge offensively, helping his team go on a strong scoring run. The defence also stepped up, forcing turnovers and limiting easy baskets. By halftime, the Lakers had taken a narrow three-point lead.

The third quarter was competitive. Zion Williamson attacked the rim and helped the Pelicans regain momentum. The Lakers struggled with turnovers again, allowing New Orleans to briefly take control. However, Luka Dončić made important baskets to keep Los Angeles within reach. Heading into the fourth quarter, the Lakers were down by two points.

The final period belonged to Los Angeles. Austin Reaves, who had struggled earlier, came alive with key shots, including two big three-pointers. A 12-0 run gave the Lakers the lead, and they never looked back. Luka added a late three-pointer to push the advantage to double digits. Luka finished with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. LeBron added 21 points, while Reaves scored 15, most of them in the fourth quarter. The Lakers will next face the Denver Nuggets as they look to extend their winning streak.
