The cultural climax of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where a star-studded closing ceremony will be the prelude to the final match between India and New Zealand on Sunday, March 8, 2026. International pop icon Ricky Martin will be the main attraction at the ceremony, which is one of the very few times a major sports event in India will have him performing live on stage. Alongside the big Bollywood names and the world-renowned stars, a combination of the rich Indian folk and pulsating bhangra dance will be there to entertain an audience of 130, 000 even before the game starts.

Star-Studded Performers List: From Latin Pop To Gujarati Folk

The International Cricket Council has crafted a star-studded lineup that blends international flair and local heritage. The ceremony will be split into three major segments, starting with a tribute to the host city.

Falguni Pathak: The “Dandiya Queen” will open the ceremony, bringing a traditional Gujarati flavour to the stadium. Accompanied by 50 Bollywood dancers, Pathak is expected to perform her classic hits like Maine Payal Hai Chhankai and O Piya to energise the local Ahmedabad crowd.

Sukhbir Singh: Known as the “Prince of Bhangra,” Sukhbir will follow with a high-energy set featuring a huge contingent of dancers and the familiar Punjab sound of the Dhol Wala. His performance of Ishq (Oh Ho Ho Ho) is a confirmed highlight.

Ricky Martin: The two-time Grammy winner will close the show with an electrifying set. Fans can expect a medley of his global hits, including Livin’ la Vida Loca, She Bangs, and the legendary football anthem The Cup of Life (La Copa de la Vida).
