Air India will fly non-stop from Delhi to Copenhagen

India’s largest carrier Air India will now open another direct link to Europe with a non-stop flight between Delhi and Copenhagen from 16 September. 

Copenhagen is Air India’s 44th international destination and 11th European non-stop destination. This thrice-a-week service will be operated by the latest state-of the art Dreamliner on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and will fulfill a long standing demand of travellers of both the countries. To mark this new service, the airline is offering attractive return fares starting from Rs 42,700, inclusive of all taxes. AI 157 will depart from Delhi at 14:30 hrs to reach Copenhagen at 18:45hrs the same day. The return flight AI 158 will leave Copenhagen at 20:45 hrs and reach Delhi at 07:35hrs the next day.

To popularise this new connection, Air India has undertaken special branding of the Rapid Metro train in Gurugram. The newly branded metro was flagged off by CMD Rajiv Bansal along with CD, Pankaj Srivastava from Rapid Metro Station of Sector 55-56 of Gurugram on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, the CMD said, “We are pleased and happy to announce the launch of the non- stop flight from Delhi to Copenhagen with the latest state-of-the-art Boeing 787 aircraft, which is the 11th non –stop European destination and 44th international station. We offer the best in-flight service, the best in-flight entertainment and passengers can reach from Delhi to Copenhagen in just a little above seven hours.”
