They reported first-quarter earnings of $1.10 per share, beating estimates and their revenue reached $1.39 billion and  they announced a four-for-one stock split and boosted their yearly growth forecast where as this shows they have a lot of faith in AI’s growing importance in security.

The cybersecurity leader reported per-share earnings of $1.10, topping Wall Street’s estimate of $1.07 and their revenue shot up by 26%, hitting $1.39 billion, which exceeded the predicted $1.36 billion.

Perhaps what’s even more impressive is the firm’s skill in turning that growth into real profits while operating income, excluding certain costs, leaped to $325.7 million from $201.1 million the previous year and profits after adjustments jumped 53%, reaching $283.4 million.

Crowd Stock NASDAQ: Record ARR Growth Signals Customer Demand

Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) is a key indicator for software companies rose 24%, hitting $5.51 billion while CrowdStrike set a new record with $256 million in net new ARR, marking a 32% jump from the previous year.

The firm’s growing customer engagement is also noteworthy and the adoption rate for six or more Falcon platform modules hit 51%, and 35% of customers used seven or more where as this shows that organizations are really leaning into CrowdStrike’s ecosystem for their security needs.

Crowd Stock NASDAQ: AI Emerges as the Next Growth Engine

Management repeatedly emphasized the growing link between cybersecurity and AI while they pushed CrowdStrike to grow its ties with key AI and cloud companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, NVIDIA, Google Cloud, IBM and Intel. Launching Project QuiltWorks and Charlotte AI AgentWorks shows their aim to become key for AI security with more firms embracing AI, there will be a big rise in needing top-tier threat detection and automated protection systems.

Financial strength was impressive too and operating cash flow hit a record $591 million, a 54% increase from the previous year. Free cash flow shot up 68%, reaching $468 million while the company had $4.55 billion in cash and equivalents at the end of the quarter.

CrowdStrike’s board okayed a four-for-one stock split, which usually makes shares more affordable for individual investors without changing the total market value.

Crowd Stock NASDAQ: Market Outlook Points to Continued Expansion

Looking ahead, CrowdStrike bumped up its fiscal 2027 growth forecast and they now see annual recurring revenue between $6.53 billion and $6.56 billion, with full-year adjusted earnings at $4.88 to $4.96 per share.

Some investors remain cautious about the short-term outlook and still, the bigger picture is positive while recurring revenue is up, cash generation is speeding up and AI-powered security is getting more important each day. This puts CrowdStrike in a great spot to take advantage of one of tech’s quickest-growing areas while their latest numbers show that cybersecurity and AI are joining forces in a big way, setting the stage for a long-term growth bonanza.
