Gold Price Today, 4 February 2026:Gold prices in India are high although they have recently been corrected at record highs By early February 2026, the 24-karat gold traded with a price of approximately Rs. 15400 per gram, which is 18% higher than last year indicating a high investor demand, as well as the uncertainty around the world and the remaining usefulness of gold as an inflation protection.

  • Despite the dip and prices remain 18–20% higher year-on-year
  • Market sentiment is stabilising as buyers step in at lower levels
