Gold Price Today, 25 March 2026: The markets of gold and silver are in a state of flux with prices being pushed by geopolitical tensions of the world, fluctuation of currencies and investment trends. Market behavior is of significant interest to investors in 2026 following unprecedented upsurges in precious metals in 2025.

International Gold Prices

The world gold markets are selling at 4300-4400 dollars per ounce. The prices are kept high because of the fear of inflation and the continued geo-political tension such as the US-Iran confrontations. 

Spot gold was down 0.4% at $4,470.36 per ounce as of 10:53 a.m. ET (1453 GMT), after having earlier tumbled more than 8% to an intraday low of $4,097.99. The metal had also recorded its steepest weekly decline since 1983 on Friday.
