Gold Rate in UAE: Gold prices kept their upward trend on 6 August 2026 when global gold touched a seven-week high amid a move by investors into safer assets before US Federal Reserve policy announcements. A drop in the US dollar and treasury yield and decline in inflation worries boosted global gold prices and expectations of the opening of the Strait of Hormuz also helped. Gold spot gained 1% to $4,285.84 an ounce while US gold futures added 0.9% to $4,345.80 an ounce. On the other hand, silver slipped 0.4% to $61.84 an ounce.

In the UAE, gold prices were also up for all the purity categories as gold purity category of 24K had a price of AED 510.25 per gram, 22K had a price of AED 472.50 per gram and 18K had a price of AED 388.50 per gram, which shows an increase of AED 18, AED 16.75 and AED 13.75, respectively. This rise came after four successive days of rise in global bullion markets.
