Stock Market Today Live Updates: Indian stock markets opened higher, recovering from earlier losses linked to geopolitical tensions. India Stock Market Update Today (10 July 2026): Nifty, Sensex Opened Higher

Indian benchmark indices trade on a positive note today, tracking a broad-based recovery in domestic and defensive sectors. The BSE Sensex is trading higher at 76,741.82 (up 0.31%) and the NSE Nifty 50 stands at 23,962.80 (up 0.34%). Banking and realty stocks are leading the market rally.

The Nifty 50 started the session on a strong note with a significant gap-up opening and continued to trade firmly in positive territory. The benchmark index opened at 24,126.70 and climbed further to around 24,220, registering a gain of 1.08%. Market breadth remained highly positive, with an advance-decline ratio of 45:5, indicating broad-based buying across sectors.

The move above the 24,100 level has strengthened the near-term outlook. Immediate resistance is placed at 24,260, and a decisive breakout above this level could push the index towards 24,350. However, if the index fails to cross 24,260, it may witness some profit booking and slip back towards 24,100.

A sustained decline below 24,100 could increase downside pressure and open the door for a move towards 23,950. For now, the outlook remains positive, with the expectation that the Nifty will hold above 24,100 and eventually advance towards 24,350.
