GIFT Nifty Signals Strong Opening

Domestic benchmark indices are likely to open higher on Friday, July 10, following positive signals from GIFT Nifty. As of 7:35 AM, GIFT Nifty was trading at 24,113, up 118 points or 0.49%, indicating a firm start for Indian equities. In the previous trading session, the Nifty 50 gained 80.75 points (0.34%) to close at 23,962.80, extending its positive momentum.

Asian Markets Trade Higher

Asian stock markets traded strongly on Friday, boosting investor sentiment across the region.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)

TCS reported a healthy financial performance for the first quarter of FY27.

  • Net profit increased 4.61% year-on-year to ₹13,349 crore.
  • Net income rose 8.5% to ₹13,849 crore.
  • Revenue climbed nearly 14% from a year ago to ₹72,275 crore.

The company’s earnings and management commentary are expected to influence the IT sector during today’s session.

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki plans to strengthen its after-sales service network during FY27. Managing Director and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi said the company aims to add around 500 new service points across India this financial year. The automaker also inaugurated its 6,000th service touchpoint in the country on Thursday.

Anand Rathi Wealth

The wealth management company delivered strong quarterly earnings.

  • Consolidated profit after tax (PAT) rose 24% year-on-year to ₹116 crore.
  • Revenue increased 18% to ₹336.4 crore.
  • Assets under management (AUM) crossed the ₹1 lakh crore milestone, reaching ₹1,06,300 crore at the end of June, up 21% from a year earlier.

Torrent Pharmaceuticals

Torrent Pharmaceuticals has initiated a voluntary recall of selected batches of Semalix injection disposable pens, which are used in diabetes treatment. The company clarified that the recall is being carried out purely as a precautionary measure.

JSW Steel

JSW Steel reported improved production during the June quarter. Its consolidated crude steel output increased 3% year-on-year to 6.59 million tonnes for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

Oberoi Realty

Oberoi Realty said a recent court order related to its luxury housing project in Gurugram will not affect its business operations. The company stated that it will pursue appropriate legal remedies after the court restrained it from making further flat allotments in the ₹16,000 crore project.

Rajesh Power Services

Rajesh Power Services secured fresh contracts worth ₹653.12 crore from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (PGVCL), a Government of Gujarat undertaking.

Premier Energies

Premier Energies commissioned a 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Telangana. The project is part of the company’s ₹12,500 crore capital expenditure plan, which aims to expand manufacturing capacity and enter new business segments.

Inventurus Knowledge Solutions (IKS Health)

IKS Health completed its previously announced acquisition of TruBridge Inc. Following the acquisition, TruBridge, which provides electronic health record (EHR) and revenue cycle management solutions for rural and community hospitals, will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of IKS Health.

NALCO and NLC India

National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) and NLC India have partnered to establish a 1,080 MW captive thermal power plant at Angul, Odisha. The project involves an estimated investment of around ₹12,000 crore and is expected to strengthen power availability for aluminium production.

Cummins India

Cummins India said the Income Tax Department has challenged a previous ruling of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) before the Bombay High Court. The appeal relates to tax adjustments amounting to ₹210.77 crore, for which the tribunal had earlier granted relief to the company.

Federal Bank

Federal Bank received its first international issuer credit ratings from S&P Global Ratings.

The agency assigned:

  • BBB-/Stable for long-term issuer credit rating.
  • A-3 for short-term issuer credit rating.

AU Small Finance Bank

AU Small Finance Bank, in partnership with Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Ltd, launched the AU Zaggle Co-Branded Retail Credit Card. The new card offers enhanced rewards, flexible benefits, and a digital-first experience designed for modern consumers.

SAIL

SAIL’s Bokaro Steel Plant is set to receive 8.3 million tonnes of iron ore annually through a new slurry pipeline. The company is building India’s longest slurry pipeline in the steel sector, which will reduce dependence on railway transportation for iron ore movement.

JK Tyre

JK Tyre plans to increase tyre prices by 11% to 13% by the end of September to offset rising raw material costs, according to CFO Sanjeev Aggarwal.

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories is expected to fall short of its FY27 target of producing 12 million semaglutide pens. The company is facing supply disruptions due to quality issues involving the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) used in the drug, CEO Erez Israeli said during an investor call.
