Canada Stock Market Update Today (13 July 2026): Canadian stocks closed the day relatively flat on 13 July 2026 with investors taking into account increased geopolitical risks in the Middle East while at the same time considering rising crude oil prices with rising oil prices benefiting energy stocks, gold prices falling and worries about extended higher interest rates affecting mining stocks, investors are waiting for the Bank of Canada’s policy announcement to come up next week.
