  • Self-Service Enhancements: Auto claim settlements, digital KYC self-attestation, and personal detail corrections without employer approval.
  • Hybrid Architecture: Cloud-native microservices integrated with core banking for faster payroll contributions and compliance.

New Withdrawal Limits

Phased rollout expands instant access:

  • UPI Withdrawals: now, you will be able to process transaction Up to ₹25,000 expected by April 2026, reducing claim processing to minutes.
  • ATM Card Withdrawals: now, you can access EPFO-linked ATM cards for immediate PF; limits tied to advance/partial withdrawals (e.g., up to 75% for specific needs), cutting wait times from days to seconds.
  • No Change to Core Rules: Full PF withdrawal still capped at 90% post-retirement; illness/employment loss limits remain 75-90%.

Implementation timeline
