The teenager, from Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, reportedly left home without telling his family and then headed to Mumbai, in hopes of kick-starting a career in acting. He was especially keen on getting a chance to work in the well-known sitcom.Â
Teen Travels Nearly 900 Km Hoping to Join Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
According to the police, the teenager left home in the afternoon, on August 6, telling his family he was heading to school. but instead, he ended up at the railway station and took a train toward Nagpur, before then continuing his travel all the way to Mumbai. He arrived at Goregaon the next morning, after covering nearly 900 km on his own, like completely alone. The boy had reportedly come to Mumbai with this aspiration: to become an actor and get a real shot to work on ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’Â
Minor Found Wandering Near Mumbai’s Film City by Police
When he finally reached Mumbai, the teenager reportedly walked from Goregaon towards Film City, like, hoping he could spot a chance to pursue acting. Later on, he was seen by himself in the area, and after that, a mobile police team was informed. The police then took him to Aarey Police Station, where he was questioned about how his trip went and where it began. During the talk, the boy reportedly said he had come to Mumbai to chase his dream of becoming an actor and that he was hoping to get work in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’Â
Police Reunite Teenager With Family After Long Journey to Mumbai
Once the teenager was found, the police contacted his family and let them know that he was safe, pretty sure. His family said to the authorities that he had been missing since Thursday and he left home without telling them about any plans to travel to Mumbai. The boy is now with the Aarey Police, while his father is heading to Mumbai to take him back home.Â
