After the celebration of Lagaan’s 25th anniversary, the actor was spotted exiting the star-studded event with his family, including both his ex-wives – Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. Gauri Spratt, with whom Aamir is expected to marry soon, also joined the trio.
Seated in the front seat of the car, Aamir was all smiles as paparazzi rushed to capture a glimpse of the star. The three ladies, meanwhile, comfortably sat together, exuding family vibes. After the video of the group surfaced on the Internet, fans were quick to shower love on the family for being cordial and supportive of each other.
Aamir Khan’s Family Life
Before Aamir became the superstar that he is today, the actor got married to Reena Dutta in 1986. Together, they welcomed two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. After being married for more than a decade, the two decided to part ways from each other.
FYI, Reena was the producer of Lagaan under Aamir Khan Productions. During the celebration, Ira gave an emotional shout-out to her mother saying, “My mamma made a beautiful film.”
After the separation from Dutta, the actor found love again in filmmaker Kiran Rao, whom he first met while working on Lagaan. She was the assistant director of the film. As the feelings intensified, the two married in 2005 and welcomed their son, Azad, through surrogacy in 2011. Nearly 16 years after their wedding, they announced their separation in 2021 but have continued to work professionally and share a warm bond with each other. They are co-parenting their son Azaad.
Kiran and Aamir continue to work together through Aamir Khan Productions.

Currently, Aamir Khan is dating Gauri Spratt. Holding hands, the two made a loved-up appearance at the event, melting hearts with their cute chemistry. Aamir introduced Gauri to the media in 2025 when he was celebrating his 60th birthday. According to him, he and Gauri had known each other for nearly 25 years before developing feelings for each other.
Lately, reports have emerged suggesting that Aamir and Gauri are going to tie the knot on July 5.
