Actor Aamir Khan apparently intends to get married for the third time. According to a report that was published by Hauteerrfly on Instagram on Wednesday, Aamir Khan will get married to his girlfriend Gauri Spratt in July.
It appears that the wedding ceremony will be a small one as it will only involve immediate family members and close friends. As per the report, the wedding date has been fixed as July 5.
“Both Aamir and Gauri have been living together as a happy family unit for more than a year now. They have created a harmonious relationship and felt the need to celebrate it with their respective families,” said a source cited in the report. It seems like neither Aamir nor Gauri is in for a grand wedding ceremony as they plan to just exchange vows at home.
Aamir on Finding Love Again
Earlier this year, Aamir spoke about his relationship with Gauri during an interview with Navbharat Times. Reflecting on his personal life, he shared, “I am very fortunate that I met Gauri, and our relationship started together. She is great, I feel at peace with her. Although my relationship with (ex-wives) Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta was also very deep, but things didn’t work out. When you asked, I felt that I am very blessed that Gauri entered my life. We are very happy together. Mujhe lagta hai ab jaake mai mukammal hua hu (I feel complete today),”
Gauri Spratt was introduced by Aamir Khan to the press in March of the previous year when he celebrated his 60th birthday in Mumbai. From that time onwards, they have appeared together at various functions.
A Look at Aamir’s Previous Marriages
The actor was formerly married to Reena Dutta, with whom he had two kids: Junaid and Ira. He divorced his wife in 2002. Aamir Khan then got married to Kiran Rao in 2005. However, in 2021, they separated but have been co-parenting their son Azad.
Upcoming Projects and Recent Work
On the professional side, after disappointing box office results in Laal Singh Chaddha last year, Aamir came back into movies with his Sitaare Zameen Par. In addition, he had a small role in Happy Patel’s Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos.
Now, the actor is waiting for his new movie called Ek Din which will hit the big screen in May. It was directed by Sunil Pandey and features Aamir’s son Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi as the main characters. This movie is based on a Thai movie titled “One Day” from 2016.
