Ali Baba Aur 40 Bhoot Review: Asha Negi-Vishal Vashishtha Starrer Has Ghosts Galore, But Scares Are Missing

Ali Baba Aur 40 Bhoot blends horror and comedy but struggles to create genuine scares. Asha Negi and Vishal Vashishtha bring energy to the supernatural chaos, yet weak tension, repeated moments and an inconsistent spooky mood make the film more playful than frightening.

Ali Baba Aur 40 Bhoot wants to be both scary and funny at the same time. It leans on a well-known pattern where ghosts show up in a person’s daily life. From there, the story aims for jokes and scares in the same scene. Still, the mix does not land in a steady way. The movie does have ghosts, and it does try to keep things moving fast. Because of that, the scenes do not always make you feel uneasy or push you to guess what comes next. But the film often fails to hold a proper spooky mood for long stretches.

Asha Negi And Vishal Vashishtha Bring Energy To The Ghostly Chaos

Asha Negi and Vishal Vashishtha add a lot of energy to the film. They also seem focused on keeping things moving. When they are on screen, the scenes feel less routine. Their acting brings a lightness that is missing elsewhere. Asha handles the fun parts with ease. Vishal keeps the comedy in line and adds spark when the supernatural characters show up. Even if the script does not offer them enough strong scenes, they still stay invested. They try their best with what they get.

Ali Baba Aur 40 Bhoot Review: Plenty Of Ghosts But Limited Horror Impact

The movie has supernatural faces and spooky scenes. It even has enough content for a real horror setup. Still, the work does not land the way it should. Rather than easing the audience in, it jumps to funny moments too fast. You can feel the fear being pushed aside. Because of that, the scary parts lose weight. The ghosts look neat at first. Yet when they show up, they do not always feel frightening. Horror is not only about having scary images. Ali Baba Aur 40 Bhoot does not keep those things in place all the time. The comedy often wins the spotlight.
