The latest film from the YRF Spy Universe, Alpha, is kind of holding steady at the box office. Starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, this action thriller has been pulling in audiences still, even after 10 days in theatres, and it feels like it’s right at the corner of that Rs 90 crore mark worldwide. As per the newest estimates, Alpha has raked in roughly Rs 89.41 crore across the globe till now, showing a pretty steady run and that strong audience curiosity around this female-led spy thriller.

‘Alpha’ Maintains A Steady Run Despite Weekday Slowdown At The Box Office

The film sort of followed the normal trend at the box office, with collections easing during the weekdays. Still, it made a pretty solid comeback in its second weekend or something like that. After a rather modest second Friday, the movie then saw more than a 30% jump on Saturday, and it kept moving strong on Sunday too. That steady weekend growth really suggests the action drama is still drawing viewers in and somehow managing to hold its ground even with all the competition around.

Strong Overseas Performance Boosts The Film’s Worldwide collections

A big reason why the film has been doing so well at the box office is because of its strong performance overseas. Even though it has earned well in India, the international side really lifted the overall collections in a noticeable way. By the end of Day 10, the film had already grossed Rs 25.50 crore from overseas, which in turn helped nudge the total worldwide closer to the Rs 100 crore mark.

Can ‘Alpha’ Cross The Rs 100 Crore Mark In Its Second Week?

The film is now just a step away from the Rs 90 crore mark, and everyone’s watching whether it can actually cross the Rs 100 crore milestone in the coming days. The decent surge in occupancy during the evening and night shows on its second Sunday sort of makes things clear, crowds are still arriving in good numbers.

Positive Audience Response Keeps Alia Bhatt’s Thriller In The Box Office Race

That film has had a pretty steady time at the box office, and you can see how viewers are connecting with the action-packed spy story; like, it really sticks. Reviews, though, have been mixed a bit, but the tense action scenes keep pulling people back in, and the lead stars give performances that feel solid.
