Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt, has pretty much wrapped up its first week in theatres, with a worldwide total of Rs 79.21 crore, more or less. It arrived as the newest film in the YRF Spy Universe, an action thriller that initially pulled in strong buzz, but by the next days the box office pace kind of eased. Even with that mixed rhythm, Shiv Rawail’s direction still managed to keep people watching, thanks to steady support from domestic as well as overseas pockets.

Alia Bhatt’s Action Thriller Continues to Hold Steady at the Box Office

The box office journey of Alpha has followed a similar kind of path, a solid opening weekend then slower, more settled collections once weekdays kicked in. After that first big rush the daily figures did soften a bit, but the film still kept pulling in viewers, maybe because of Alia Bhatt’s star pull and the general buzz around its female-led spy thriller plot. Even with other releases around it, Alpha somehow managed to stay in the race at the box office, maintaining a fairly consistent show. The weekday collections, though, remained in the mode of a lower pace but were still steady in their own way.

Domestic and Overseas Collections Push Worldwide Earnings to Rs 79.21 Crore

By the end of its first week, Alpha had already racked in Rs 79.21 crore worldwide, which is a pretty solid show at the box office. In India, the film managed Rs 47.55 crore net, and the gross collection was Rs 56.66 crore. Over in the overseas market it also did well, adding Rs 22.55 crore to the overall total. Since the earnings stayed steady, both in India and abroad, Alpha seems to have finished week one on a promising note, sort of holding its ground amid that tough competition at the 2026 box office.

Can ‘Alpha’ Cross the Rs 100 Crore Mark in Its Second Weekend?

So Alpha is already in its second week, and everyone’s watching, like real close, to see if it can get over the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. A lot will hinge on good word-of-mouth and also on how well it manages to stand its ground against the new releases. It still needs a proper lift in everyday ticket sales, sure, but the first week results have really laid down a decent footing so it can keep drawing in crowds and carry on with its theatrical run.

Week One Performance Signals a Promising Run for the Action Entertainer

Overall, Alpha did make a strong impact in its first week, and it seems audiences are ready to embrace an action thriller led by female stars. There’s been a steady performance at the global box office, so the movie has quickly shown up as one of Bollywood’s notable releases of the year.
