Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s Mumbai residence, Antilia, once again grabbed eyeballs as the Ambani family welcomed Ganpati Bappa with grandeur. From Bollywood’s biggest names turning up for darshan to festive décor and memorable moments, the celebrations quickly became a talking point on the internet.
Among the many highlights, one moment had social media buzzing and it was Radhika Merchant’s special performance dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
Radhika Merchant’s heartfelt tribute to Bappa
Anant Ambani’s wife Radhika Merchant paid a musical and classical dance tribute to Bappa during the celebrations at Antilia. Dressed in a traditional ensemble, Radhika performed to a devotional composition.
A video of her performance has been doing the rounds on social media, with her graceful movements becoming one of the most talked-about moments from this year’s celebration.
Radhika is trained in Bharatanatyam. She opted for a custom Manish Malhotra Kanjeevaram-inspired creation for the performance. The jewel-toned ensemble featured gold zari detailing.

Bollywood brings the glamour to Antilia
Not to our surprise, Antilia witnessed a who’s who of Bollywood arriving to seek Bappa’s blessings. Among those spotted at the celebration were Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Rekha, Karan Johar, Siddharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani and other key names from the film industry.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt arrived hand-in-hand. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal also made a stylish appearance. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan attended with their children.
Best-dressed stars: Traditional glamour takes centre stage
The festive dress code brought out some of the most striking traditional looks of the evening. Nita Ambani made a strong fashion statement in a rich traditional ensemble paired with a statement necklace. Her jewellery-heavy look became a fashion highlight of the celebrations.
Among the celebrity guests, Alia Bhatt opted for an elegant blue saree, while Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan and several other stars embraced traditional festive silhouettes. The men, too, kept things classic with kurtas and ethnic wears.
From dhols to dance, Antilia’s viral moments
The glamour wasn’t limited to the guest list. Videos from the celebrations showed the Ambani family welcoming Ganpati Bappa amid dancing, dhol beats and decorations. The family’s festive welcome, along with glimpses of the beautifully decorated Antilia, quickly found its way across social media.
Ganesh Chaturthi 2026: The festival of Bappa begins
Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 began on September 14, marking the start of the 10-day celebration dedicated to Bappa. The festival is observed with the installation of Ganesha idols in homes and public pandals, and this is followed by prayers, aarti and festive celebrations.
The festivities culminate with Ganesh Visarjan on Anant Chaturdashi, September 25, when devotees bid farewell to Bappa and immerse the idol in water.
