The Mirzapur universe is finally making its way to the big screen and the trailer of Mirzapur The Movie has brought back the characters, rivalries and power struggles that made the Prime Video series a fan favourite.
The trailer promises guns, bloodshed, political games and the familiar fight for the Mirzapur throne. With Kaleen Bhaiya, Munna Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit all returning, the film looks set to continue the power struggle that has defined the franchise.

What Happens In The Mirzapur The Movie Trailer?
The trailer opens with Kaleen Bhaiya, played by Pankaj Tripathi, laying down the rules of power once again.
“Gaddi na toh viraasat se milti hai, na siyasat se. Milti hai toh sirf aur sirf baahubal se aur tikti hai darr pe. Jis din ispe baithe, samjho maut se tumhara rishta pakka,” he says as the camera focuses on the iconic chair that has remained at the centre of the Mirzapur universe.
From there, the trailer turns into a bloody battle for control. There are gunshots and violence as the question of who gets the Mirzapur throne once again takes centre stage.
Kaleen Bhaiya is introduced as “The King,” while Divyenndu’s Munna Bhaiya returns as “The Prince.” The character brings back the same swagger and unpredictable energy that made him one of the most memorable figures in the series.
The trailer also brings Guddu Pandit, played by Ali Fazal, back into the action. Guddu is introduced alongside Bablu Pandit with the two referred to as “The Lions.”
Meanwhile, Ravi Kishan is a new addition to the Mirzapur universe, playing Babban Babua.
The trailer closes by promising “Bhaukaal like never before.”
Who Is Returning In Mirzapur The Movie?
The film brings back several key members of the original ensemble.
Pankaj Tripathi reprises his role as Kaleen Bhaiya, the powerful figure whose hold over Mirzapur has been at the centre of the story.
Ali Fazal returns as Guddu Pandit, while Divyenndu is back as Munna Bhaiya. Their characters have been connected by years of rivalry, revenge and shifting power equations.
Rasika Dugal returns as Beena Tripathi while Shweta Tripathi Sharma reprises her role as Golu Gupta.
The returning cast also includes Abhishek Banerjee as Compounder, Anjum Sharma as Sharad Shukla and Shriya Pilgaonkar as Sweety Gupta.
What About Jitendra Kumar?
One of the biggest talking points around the movie has been the return of Bablu Pandit.
While the character was originally played by Vikrant Massey in the series, the film introduces Jitendra Kumar in the role.
Bablu was one of the important characters in the early seasons of Mirzapur with his relationship with Guddu forming a key part of the Pandit brothers’ story.

The ensemble also features Sonal Chauhan, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Harshita Gaur, Sushant Singh, Pramod Pathak and Anangsha Biswas.
What Is Mirzapur The Movie?
The film is a theatrical adaptation of the popular Mirzapur franchise which began streaming on Prime Video in 2018.
The series became known for its crime drama, dark humour, violence and intense family rivalries, eventually becoming one of the most recognisable Indian streaming franchises.
The movie takes that world to cinemas with its established characters returning alongside new additions to the ensemble.
Mirzapur The Movie is scheduled to arrive in theatres on September 4, 2026.
