As Peddi hit theatres on Thursday, June 4, Janhvi Kapoor celebrated the film’s release in a spiritual way. She visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh. The actress undertook the arduous climb of 3,550 steps via the Alipiri footpath. And the most surprising part – she did it barefoot. Can you believe it? Following the temple’s traditions, she walked up to the hill shrine before offering prayers and seeking blessings for the film’s success. Dressed in a simple pink kurta and palazzo during the event, Janhvi could be seen making her way up the shrine late at night. After completing the trek, she changed into a traditional silk saree. Next, the actress participated in prayers at the temple dedicated to Lord Venkateswara. Notably, this is not the first time the actress visited Tirumala. She has previously undertaken similar pilgrimages on specific occasions.
