From gripping thrillers to poignant literary adaptations, this year’s 2026 shortlist presents a film industry unafraid to take risks. At the helm of this year’s awards is One Battle After Another, a gripping political thriller boasting an impressive 14 nomination and close on its heels is vampire epic Sinners, boasting 13 nominations, followed by historical drama Hamnet and crime thriller Marty Supreme, each boasting 11 nominations over 40 films are represented across this year’s nominees.
The event is set to take place on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 and it will commence at 7:00 PM GMT with red carpet arrivals expected to start an hour prior to that. It is important to note that viewers across the world should be aware that the start time of the event will vary in their region.
