Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for one of the biggest milestones of his career as Ramayana prepares to make its debut at San Diego Comic Con. While fans are eagerly waiting for the mythological epic’s first global showcase, the actor has grabbed attention for a completely different reason. This time, it has nothing to do with films. Instead, it is another major addition to his growing real estate portfolio.
According to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix, Ranbir has purchased four adjoining land parcels in Pune’s Mulshi taluka for a total of Rs 16.42 crore. The transaction was officially registered on April 30, 2026.

The documents show that the actor has acquired four adjoining plots in Pimpri village which cover a combined area of around 1,04,000 square metres or nearly 25.7 acres.
The first parcel measures 21,400 square metres and was purchased for Rs 3.31 crore. The second spans 29,900 square metres and cost Rs 4.62 crore. The third, the largest of the four, covers 43,800 square metres and was acquired for Rs 7.07 crore. The fourth parcel measures 8,900 square metres and was bought for Rs 1.39 crore.
Together, the four properties amount to Rs 16.42 crore. The registration documents also show that stamp duty worth Rs 82.13 lakh was paid as part of the transaction.
Another Property Move After Ayodhya
This isn’t the first time Ranbir has made headlines for a real estate purchase this year. Back in May, the actor bought a land parcel at The House of Abhinandan Lodha’s The Sarayu project in Ayodhya for around Rs 3.31 crore.
The plot measured 2,134 square feet and is part of a premium development that is expected to feature a clubhouse, more than 35 lifestyle amenities and a five-acre vegetarian luxury hotel by The Leela.
All Eyes On Ramayana
Away from his real estate investments, Ranbir’s professional calendar is equally packed. The actor will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1, one of the most anticipated Indian films in recent years.
The film is set to make its official debut at San Diego Comic Con where Ranbir, Yash, director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra are expected to unveil an exclusive first look. The project has already generated massive excitement among fans with Ranbir stepping into the role of Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi portraying Sita. The ensemble cast also includes Yash, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta and Ravi Dubey in key roles.
Ramayana: Part 1 is slated for a Diwali 2026 theatrical release while Ramayana: Part 2 will release on Diwali 2027.
Apart from the mythological epic, Ranbir also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War in the pipeline.
