Bigg Boss 20 has brought together an interesting mix of television actors, film stars, sports personalities, reality-show faces and digital creators. But before the contestants begin building their individual journeys inside the house, there is another popularity battle worth looking at Instagram.

With social media playing an increasingly important role in reality television, the size of a contestant’s existing fanbase can give them a considerable head start. And the Bigg Boss 20 ranking has one particularly clear winner.

Arishfa Khan is currently the most-followed contestant, with 29.1 million Instagram followers, putting her well ahead of the rest of the cast. Kanika Mann follows with 7.3 million, while Bhojpuri star Amrapali Dubey takes the third spot with 6.6 million.

Here is the Bigg Boss 20 Instagram follower ranking based on the latest figures.

Who Has The Most Instagram Followers Among Bigg Boss 20 Contestants?

1. Arishfa Khan — 29.1 Million

Arishfa Khan enters Bigg Boss 20 with a massive digital following. With 29.1 million followers, she is comfortably the most-followed contestant this season. The actress and social media creator started working as a child artist and went on to build a huge online following through television, fashion, beauty and lifestyle content.

2. Kanika Mann — 7.3 Million

Kanika Mann is in second place with 7.3 million followers. The television actress, known for shows including Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega and her appearance on Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, already has a sizeable television and social-media following.

Interestingly, Kanika is also the contestant who received the Puppet Master power during the premiere, giving her an advantage inside the house as well as a strong digital presence outside it.

3. Amrapali Dubey — 6.6 Million

Bhojpuri star Amrapali Dubey has 6.6 million Instagram followers, placing her third. The actress, one of the biggest names from the Bhojpuri entertainment industry in the lineup, therefore enters the house with a substantial regional and digital fanbase.

4. ScoutOP — 4.4 Million

Tanmay Singh aka ScoutOP is the highest-ranked gaming and esports personality on the list, with 4.4 million followers. His entry marks a significant crossover between India’s gaming community and mainstream television. During the premiere, ScoutOP also revealed that he can earn around ₹30 lakh a month through gaming and related work.

5. Mahhi Vij — 2.2 Million

Television actress Mahhi Vij comes next with 2.2 million followers. Mahhi entered the house as the final contestant of the premiere and has a long television career behind her. Her Instagram following also puts her ahead of several other established names in the cast.

6. Mary Kom — 2 Million

Boxing legend Mary Kom has 2 million followers. While she may not have the biggest Instagram following among the contestants, her offline recognition is arguably unmatched. Her entry gives Bigg Boss 20 a contestant whose popularity extends far beyond entertainment and social media.

7. Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu — 1.4 Million

Reality-show personality Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, has 1.4 million followers. His previous reality-show experience gives him another advantage beyond his social-media numbers.

8. Isha Rikhi — 1.1 Million

Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi enters the house with 1.1 million Instagram followers. Her following puts her just above the million mark and makes her another contestant with an established digital audience.

9. Uditi Singh — 1 Million

Model and actress Uditi Singh rounds off the million-plus club with exactly 1 million followers.

10. Love Gill — 613K

Love Gill currently has 613,000 followers. She entered Bigg Boss 20 after winning the audience vote against Rhiya Ahir in the show’s Fans Ka Faisla twist, giving her a particularly interesting route into the house.

11. Aman Gandhi — 428K

Aman Gandhi has 428,000 followers on Instagram. While his digital following is considerably smaller than that of the season’s top names, the Bigg Boss platform could potentially change that number quickly.

12. Aasif Khan — 235K

Actor Aasif Khan has 235,000 followers. Known for projects including Panchayat, Paatal Lok and Jamtara, Aasif enters with a stronger acting résumé than his Instagram number might suggest.

13. Qazi Touqeer — 172K

Singer and reality-TV veteran Qazi Touqeer has 172,000 followers. The Fame Gurukul winner represents an earlier generation of Indian reality television, making his presence alongside digital stars such as ScoutOP particularly interesting.

14. Yung DSA — 120K

Rapper Yung DSA has 120,000 followers. His Instagram audience is relatively modest compared with the season’s biggest digital stars, but his music and rap background could give him a different route to popularity inside the house.

15. Rohed Khan — 30.7K

Actor Rohed Khan currently has 30,700 followers, placing him second from the bottom in the ranking. His relatively small Instagram following makes him one of the contestants with the biggest gap between mainstream Bigg Boss exposure and pre-existing social-media reach.

16. Rhiti Tiwari — 20.3K

Rhiti Tiwari currently sits at the bottom of the ranking with 20,300 followers. She is the daughter of politician and actor Manoj Tiwari and entered the house as one of the season’s newer faces.
