Bigg Boss 20 Second Weekend Ka Vaar aired on Saturday, September 13, and the episode brought Salman Khan back as host who unveiled the first major voting result of the season. After a week of nominations, the audience had to choose between Kanika Mann, Arishfa Khan, Love Gill and Uditi Singh.
But this season comes with a twist. The contestant receiving the lowest votes does not immediately have to leave the Bigg Boss 20 house. Instead, they lose one of their lifelines which gave them another chance to survive a future elimination. The twist had already come into play earlier when Yung DSA became the first captain of Bigg Boss 20 and used his power to take away Kanika Mann’s lifeline.
So, before the voting result was announced, Salman had already reminded Kanika that she was technically playing with only one lifeline. But the voting result had a different name written at the bottom.
Uditi Singh received the lowest votes among the nominated contestants. That meant the actress survived the first elimination hurdle but one of her two lifelines was gone.
Bigg Boss 20 Episode 7: Salman Khan Questions Uditi Singh’s Game After Lowest Votes
During the Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman spoke about Uditi’s approach to the game. The actress acknowledged that she generally does not speak much but said she had been trying to change that and participate more actively.
“It’s true, mai kam baat karti hoon…aapki advice ki main respect karti hu and I will follow that. Mujhkoa isa lag raha tha jitna kam mai baat karti hoon, usse zyada maine initiate kara aur apna opinion raise kara, jaha mujhe karna tha,” she said.
Uditi lost the one lifeline !
“Sir, maine socha kam bola, but maine initiative liya hai. Next time se I’ll do more!”

But Salman was not entirely convinced that simply increasing her conversations was enough.
Salman reminded her that Bigg Boss is not a show where contestants can simply stay within themselves and expect the audience to connect with them. He told her: “Ye show apne mein rehne ke liye nahi hai, aapne mein rehna ahai toh aap apne ghar reh sakti hai.”
Uditi agreed with Salman and explained that she did not feel she had been completely withdrawn from the game. She said: “Sir, main abhi tak apne mein nahi reh rahi thi, aisa mujhko lag raha tha.”
But Salman then brought the conversation straight back to the voting result. Pointing out that her own perception of her game was different from what the audience seemed to feel, Salman said: “Par jaise votes aaye hai, sabko lag raha hai ki aap apne ghar mein hai, Bigg Boss ke ghar mein nahi.”
And that was a pretty brutal reality check.
Salman Khan’s Advice: Stand Out, But Don’t Force It
Salman further advised Uditi to make sure she stands out inside the house, but not by unnecessarily interfering in every conversation just for the sake of being noticed.
The point, essentially, was not to become loud or force herself into situations. Instead, she needs to let her personality, opinions and reactions create an impact when it matters.
