Bigg Boss 20 is set to get a major dose of gaming and esports fandom with the entry of Tanmay Singh, better known as ScoutOP. The popular BGMI player and content creator is reportedly entering Salman Khan’s reality show as a last-minute addition, marking a major crossover between India’s esports community and mainstream television.

ScoutOP has built a massive following through his gaming career, livestreams and digital content. His reported entry into Bigg Boss 20 has already created excitement among gaming fans, particularly because he is being billed as the first professional esports athlete from the Indian gaming scene to enter the reality show. But who is ScoutOP and why is his Bigg Boss debut such a big deal for the gaming community?

Who Is ScoutOP aka Tanmay Singh?

Tanmay Singh, popularly known as ScoutOP or Sc0utOP, is an Indian professional esports player, gamer and content creator. He rose to prominence through PUBG Mobile before becoming one of the most recognisable faces of India’s BGMI scene.

ScoutOP began his professional esports career in 2018 and has represented several major organisations, including Team IND, Team SouL, Fnatic and Orange Rock. Over the years, his aggressive playing style, mechanical skills and high-profile performances helped him build a huge fan base.

His popularity eventually expanded beyond competitive gaming. ScoutOP became a full-time digital creator, producing gaming videos, livestreams, vlogs and entertainment content. He has also amassed more than five million subscribers on YouTube, making him one of India’s biggest gaming creators.

What Is ScoutOP’s BGMI And Esports Record?

ScoutOP’s reputation was built long before his Bigg Boss appearance. One of his biggest international achievements came with Orange Rock at the PUBG Mobile World League 2020 East. The team finished as runners-up, marking one of the strongest international performances by an Indian PUBG Mobile team at the time.

His career has also included stints with some of the biggest names in Indian esports. ScoutOP has competed under Team IND, Team SouL, Fnatic and Orange Rock, among other associations, establishing himself as one of the early stars of India’s mobile esports ecosystem.

ScoutOP later became associated with Team XSpark, further expanding his role within the gaming industry from player to team owner and creator.

Why Did ScoutOP Take A Break From Esports?

ScoutOP’s career has also seen its share of breaks and comebacks. He announced his retirement from competitive gaming in September 2025. However, he returned to competitive play in 2026, once again becoming part of the active BGMI esports ecosystem. Recent reports list him as playing for Quantum Sparks and note his participation in BGMI Masters Series Season 5. (

Why Is ScoutOP Entering Bigg Boss 20 A Big Deal?

ScoutOP’s Bigg Boss entry represents something bigger than just another celebrity joining the reality show. For years, gaming and esports personalities have built enormous audiences online without receiving the same mainstream visibility as television and film stars. ScoutOP’s move into Bigg Boss brings that audience into one of India’s biggest reality-TV franchises.

It also gives viewers who may not follow BGMI or esports an opportunity to see ScoutOP outside his usual gaming environment.

What Can Fans Expect From ScoutOP On Bigg Boss 20?

ScoutOP is known for his competitive personality and direct approach, traits that have helped him stand out in the gaming world.

Inside the Bigg Boss house, however, his biggest challenge could be adapting to a social game. Unlike esports, where performance can be measured through wins, losses and statistics, Bigg Boss depends heavily on relationships, personality and how contestants handle conflict.
