Arjun Sarja’s latest action drama Blast is still running strong at the box office, and it’s turning out to be a pretty clear crowd magnet even after the weekend rush. Directed by Subash K. Raj, the film seems to have held up quite well through the weekdays, so yeah, audience interest stays solid. As per trade estimates, Blast has managed to keep steady collections across a few key markets without any big sharp drop.

Arjun’s Action Entertainer Crosses ₹21 Crore India Net in Six Days

By the end of its sixth day in theatres, Blast had crossed the ₹21 crore India net mark, and it looked like a pretty steady performer at the box office. The film started with decent numbers, but then it picked up pace rather fast, mostly because of positive word-of-mouth and that rising sense of curiosity among viewers. A big share of the earnings has come from the Tamil version, and that one keeps pulling in solid crowds right through the day. The Telugu dubbed version has not stayed behind either; it has chipped in meaningfully too, so the movie could spread to more people, and overall box office results have held up across multiple markets.

Worldwide Total Approaches ₹31 Crore Amid Consistent Audience Turnout

The film’s strong performance isn’t just stuck in India alone. Blast has been doing decent overseas too, so its worldwide collection keeps inching nearer the ₹31 crore mark. People in different international markets have reacted well to that action-packed tale about a family going up against a powerful criminal syndicate. Those overseas numbers sort of add fuel to the fire, giving it an extra boost and making it one of Arjun’s more successful solo efforts in recent years.

Mass Circuits Continue to Drive the Film’s Box Office Performance

A big reason why Blast is doing so well at the box office is because it keeps performing nicely in the single-screen theatres, and also in smaller towns. Sure, in multiplexes the film is doing okay, but it’s really the rural and semi-urban markets that are pulling the collections now, with packed shows and very enthusiastic crowds. People especially seem to like the action-packed martial arts moments, those sequences; they kind of became one of the main highlights.

Can ‘Blast’ Sustain Its Run and Enter the ₹40 Crore Club Soon?

As the weekend comes a little closer, all eyes are on whether Blast can keep this strong run going and somehow cross the ₹40 crore worldwide mark. Judging from what it has been doing so far, that milestone looks pretty reachable, if the film stays on a solid number of screens and doesn’t have to fight off heavy competition from fresh releases. If family audiences keep turning up in decent numbers, in particular for the evening and night shows, Blast should end up even stronger at the box office and then come out as a pretty obvious commercial success, which would give the filmmaking team a memorable kind of beginning.
