The much-awaited trailer of Dhurandhar: The Revenge has finally been released, giving audiences their first look at the explosive sequel to the blockbuster action franchise. The film sees Ranveer Singh return in a powerful and darker avatar, reprising his role as Hamza Ali Mazari while also appearing as Jaskirat Singh Rangi.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the sequel promises bigger action sequences, intense drama and a storyline built around revenge and cross-border conflict. The trailer has already created massive buzz online, particularly because of a hard-hitting dialogue delivered by Ranveer Singh: “Pakistan ka mustakbil ab Hindustan tay karega” (India will write Pakistan’s future).

With a strong ensemble cast and large-scale production, the film aims to expand the universe of the original movie while raising the stakes even higher.

Dhurandhar 2 Trailer Out

The newly released trailer introduces viewers to the intense world of Hamza Ali Mazari and the journey that shaped him. It begins with glimpses of Jaskirat Singh Rangi’s past, hinting at the personal tragedy and anger that eventually transform him into Hamza.

The trailer features several high-energy action sequences, including shootouts, explosions and covert operations. These scenes suggest that the sequel will push the franchise toward a more intense and politically charged narrative.

One moment from the trailer has already become widely discussed among fans. In a tense scene, Hamza declares, “Pakistan ka mustakbil ab Hindustan tay karega.” The dialogue highlights the central theme of the film, where national pride and revenge drive the story forward.

Dhurandhar 2 Release Date

The makers have confirmed that Dhurandhar: The Revenge will release in theatres on March 19, 2026. The film will arrive during a festive period that coincides with Eid as well as regional festivals such as Gudi Padwa and Ugadi.

The sequel will release in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. This pan-India strategy reflects the massive popularity the franchise gained after the success of the first film.

With a large fan base across different regions, the film’s release is expected to attract strong box-office attention.

Dhurandhar 2 Cast

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features several well-known actors in key roles. Sanjay Dutt appears as SP Chaudhary Aslam, a tough and commanding officer who seems ready to take extreme measures to achieve justice. One of his powerful dialogues in the trailer says: “Ro kyun raha hai laale, suna nahi..Jahan dard hai wahan mard hai.”

The film also stars R. Madhavan as Ajay Sanyal, a strategist guiding the mission, while Arjun Rampal plays the antagonist ISI Major Iqbal. Rampal’s character appears cold and calculating, making him a dangerous rival for the protagonists.

Another important character in the film is Yalina, played by Sara Arjun, whose storyline may add emotional complexity to the narrative.

Dhurandhar 2 Plot

The trailer hints at a story that combines personal revenge with geopolitical conflict. The narrative appears to follow Hamza as he embarks on a dangerous mission that crosses borders and ideologies.

One of the major plot developments teased in the trailer is the chaos in Lyari following the death of Rahman Dakait. With the criminal leader gone, the region falls into turmoil as various groups attempt to take control.

Against this backdrop, Hamza prepares for a larger confrontation. The film also suggests that a cross-border operation could play a central role in the story, reinforcing the theme of pursuing justice without being limited by national boundaries.

The emotional conflict between characters and the revelation of Hamza’s identity may further complicate the mission.

Dhurandhar 2: Clash with Toxic

Initially, Dhurandhar: The Revenge was expected to face a major box-office clash with Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grownups.

However, the competing film later postponed its release date due to international developments affecting production schedules and market conditions. This change cleared the festive release window for Dhurandhar 2.

Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film aims to deliver a massive theatrical experience with large-scale action, dramatic storytelling and powerful performances. With strong anticipation already building after the trailer launch, the sequel is expected to be one of the biggest releases of 2026.
