Popular singer Jasmine Sandlas, who recently grabbed attention for her track Shararat in Dhurandhar, stopped her live performance in Delhi after she saw two men who were said to be attacking women in the audience. The incident took place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium during her ongoing tour.

In a now-viral video circulating on social media, Jasmine can be seen pausing her performance and directly instructing security to take action. She said, “Security, can you please remove these two guys?… Kudiya na tang kar dene (They are troubling these women). Aapa gawange hi nahii jab tak kudiya safe nah feel karti (I will not perform until women feel safe).”

Her firm stand received loud cheers from the crowd.

Netizens Praise Singer’s Bold Move

The fans expressed their admiration through social media platforms right after the video became available. The online platform experienced a surge of popularity through the comments, which included “Absolute respect”, “Queen behaviour”, and “Real queens protect their kingdom.” People recognised her achievement because she chose to protect women’s safety instead of continuing the show.

Actor Ayesha Khan, who features in Shararat alongside Krystle D’Souza, also joined Jasmine on stage during the concert, adding to the high-energy atmosphere.

Past Threats in Delhi

Jasmine faced her second encounter with difficulties in the capital city of power. In 2023, she received death threats, which police linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, before her scheduled performance in Delhi. Police sources had then confirmed that threatening calls were made warning of an attack during her performance.

Jasmine Sandlas’ Popular Songs
