Lock Upp 2: A new controversy has emerged inside the reality show after contestant Shreya Kalra opened up about an alleged interaction actor Kushal Tandon during a conversation with Shilpa Shinde. Shreya claimed Kushal, who is currently a contestant in Alliance House, had reached out to her through Instagram while he was reportedly seeing Shivangi Joshi.Â
The reality show, hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, has seen contestants making several personal revelations. In the latest episode, Shreya revisited an incident that she said took place while she was shooting a promotional video for one of Shivangi’s television projects.
Lock Upp 2: Shreya Kalra Recalls alleged DM From Kushal Tandon
Speaking to Shilpa, Shreya said she was never particularly close to fellow contestant Shivangi despite working on the same project. She then revealed that one of Shivangi’s co-stars allegedly sent her a direct message after the shoot. She then referred to Kushal Tandon.Â
Recalling the incident, Shreya said, “He DMed me after the shoot. I was dating at that time. At that time there was something between Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi. I didn’t know about it.”
She went on to allege that Kushal continued messaging her but she chose not to pursue the conversation.
Shreya Kalra Says, ‘I Gave My Phone To Her’
Shreya further claimed that she later met Shivangi on the sets where the actress allegedly mentioned that Kushal had told her Shreya had followed and messaged him first.
Sharing what happened next, Shreya said, “He started speaking to me. I got a hunch and stopped. Then, Shivangi and I met on the set and she was like, ‘Oh hi! Yes! He told me about you that you followed and messaged him.’ I said ‘Excuse me! I wouldn’t be the first person to approach any man. I’ve never done that in my entire life.”
She added that she immediately handed over her phone to Shivangi to clear the air.
“I gave my phone to her. She read my whole chat. I didn’t flirt back and I didn’t say anything.”
Shreya Kalra Claims Shivangi Cried After The Shoot
During the conversation, Shilpa asked, “Didn’t she start crying?” To this, Shreya replied, “She did cry after the shoot on the set. After 3-5 months, that guy posted a story saying that they have broken up.”
Shreya also claimed that she brought up Shivangi’s previous relationship during their time inside Lock Upp 2. According to her, Shivangi chose not to speak about what had happened and changed the topic instead.
As of now, neither Kushal Tandon nor Shivangi Joshi has publicly responded to Shreya Kalra’s allegations. It also remains to be seen whether the issue is addressed by hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh during the upcoming Judgement Day episode.
