A viral claim says Nicola Peltz receives a $1 million monthly allowance from her billionaire father, but a source close to her has denied the rumour as completely false.

It is widely known that actress Nicola Peltz belongs to a very rich family. She married Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, in 2022. Reports say the 31-year-old actress not only earns on her own but also receives a large monthly allowance from her father, Nelson Peltz. He is a founding partner of Trian Fund Management and is believed to have a net worth of around $1.6 billion.
The topic came up during the January 27 episode of The Rest Is Entertainment podcast. Co-host Marina Hyde claimed that Nicola receives $1 million every month from her father. She also suggested that although the Beckham family is extremely wealthy, they do not give their son Brooklyn the same level of financial support.
Talking on the podcast, Marina Hyde said David and Victoria Beckham prefer that their son learn to be financially independent. She shared, “From what I hear, I think [David and Victoria Beckham] give Brooklyn a lot of money but not insane money, and they kind of have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent."
These comments surfaced while rumors of tension within the Beckham family were already circulating.
Marina Hyde also claimed that Nicola’s father once asked the Beckhams why they do not provide Brooklyn with a similar allowance. According to her, Nelson Peltz allegedly pointed out that he gives his daughter a very large monthly sum. She said, “I hear — and maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this — but I hear that he said to [Victoria and David], ‘I give my daughter a million dollar month allowance. Why don’t you?’ "
After these claims spread, a person close to Nicola denied them. The source told E! News, “This is 100 per cent false. The quote in question has no source because it is not true. It is simply a fabricated rumour made up from thin air."
At the same time, Brooklyn Beckham recently spoke publicly about his strained relationship with his family. Earlier this month, the 26-year-old shared a long statement on Instagram. In it, he accused his family of repeatedly disrespecting his wife, Nicola. He also made a serious claim about his wedding day in April 2022, saying his mother behaved inappropriately while dancing with him.
A part of his statement read, “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed. I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life."
The situation has added more attention to the reported tensions within the Beckham family, with financial support and personal issues both becoming topics of public discussion.
