The initial look of The Dragon with four minutes trailer duration that was released on the occasion of NTR Jr’s birthday reveals the actor in the role of a highly lethal assassin. The film ‘Dragon’, which features NTR Jr in an intense action entertainer, has revealed the eagerly awaited first look of the actor.
Dragon Glimpse Out
The glimpse starts with narration through a voice-over that states, “It’s true, the British came to India for cotton, steel, and spices, but the reason they stayed here for 250 years was a plant.” The glimpse is then followed by images of poppy farms and further by the manufacturing of opium, which happens to be the most addictive drug in the world.
The four-minute glimpse shows how the British left India, yet the opium trade remained active for several centuries after. The protagonist NTR Jr comes up in an authoritative manner as Luger, who happens to be the chief assassin of Afghan Trading Company. Anil Kapoor takes on a powerful role of Raghuveer Rathod, who is the Chief of Narcotics Bureau. There is also an indication of a power battle between the Afghan Trading Company and its rival, the Golden Trading Company.
The glimpse provides glimpses of other cast members, such as Rukmini Vasanth, Ashutosh Rana, Biju Menon, Sidhant Gupta, Guru Somasundaram, Rajeev Kanakala, Khushbu Sundar, Anshuman Pushkar, Prabhas Srinu, Shatru, Shiva, Bhimal Jeet Oberoi, and others.

Film Director Prashanth Neel, whose name is synonymous with the mega-hit KGF series, is teaming up with NTR Jr. for his next movie, ‘Dragon’. This movie is being made under the production houses Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. With the title of the movie confirmed and the first look released, ‘Dragon’ will release on June 11, 2027.
