Drishyam 3 Box Office Collection Day 21: Mohanlal’s signature crime-procedural franchise has officially cemented its blockbuster status as it wraps up its third week in theatres. Despite staring down massive fresh competition from newer releases like Ram Charan’s Peddi, director Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam 3 continues to churn out steady numbers, refusing to completely vacate the ticket windows.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the third installment of the Georgekutty saga pocketed Rs 37 lakhs net in India on Day 21 (Wednesday). Recording a nominal 7.5% decline from Tuesday’s Rs 40 lakhs, this steady late-week pattern pushes the film’s total domestic net collection to an incredible Rs 107.70 crore, ensuring a highly profitable theatrical lifetime run.

How Solid is Drishyam 3’s Cumulative Three-Week Collection?

The Mohanlal film had an outstanding start at the box office. With the first seven days making a whooping Rs 81.95 crore net, the movie held its ground reasonably well through the second week, raking in an additional Rs 20.68 crore.

As expected for a suspense drama entering its 21st day, show counts have started contracting across major multiplex chains. However, the film’s minimal day-to-day collections prove that the core audience is still showing up in front of big screens for the drama-thriller.

Which Version Performed The Most For Mohanlal?

The primary Malayalam version remains the absolute backbone of Drishyam 3’s late-stage theatrical run. On Wednesday, it accounted for Rs 36 lakhs out of the day’s total earnings, operating across 694 screens with an average 8.30% overall theater occupancy.

The Telugu dubbed version retained a minute footprint, bringing in a nominal Rs 1 lakh from just 11 shows. If we talk about the state-wise contributions, Kerala remains the frontrunner, generating the major share of domestic revenues, while neighboring states like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka added steady single-digit gross figures to the daily tally.

Day 21 Theater Occupancy Shifts (Malayalam):

The occupancy for the Malayalam shows was actually incredible for a movie in its third week. While morning shows fall a little short of 6% percent occupancy but the numbers rose as the day progressed with evening and night shows taking the peak to 8.00%.

What is Drishyam 3’s Total Worldwide Box Office Gross?

While the domestic collections are winding down to their final stretch, Drishyam 3 has performed phenomenally well on the global stage. On Day 21, international markets took in an additional Rs 5 lakhs gross. This minor bump brings the film’s total overseas gross cumulative to a massive Rs 111.65 crore.

When put together with the total Indian gross collection of Rs 124.94 crore, Drishyam 3’s worldwide gross collection officially sits at Rs 236.59 crore.

With this milestone, the movie has successfully dethroned Vaazha 2 (Rs 235.26 crore) to become the fourth-highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time, sitting right behind Manjummel Boys, L2: Empuraan, and Lokah Chapter 1. Given that the climax is currently being modified for a high-profile Hindi remake starring Ajay Devgn, the franchise’s cultural and commercial footprints are only promised to expand.
