The wait for Drishyam 3 is finally over as the trailer of the much-awaited third installment, titled Drishyam: The Conclusion, has arrived which takes Vijay Salgaonkar’s story into a new and more dangerous chapter. Ajay Devgn is back as the family man who has always managed to stay several steps ahead of the law but this time, the rules of the game appear to have changed.
While the return of Ajay Devgn and Tabu has naturally got fans talking, the trailer also introduces a new character who immediately stands out: Jaideep Ahlawat as SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar. From his first appearance, the officer comes across as someone who isn’t likely to underestimate Vijay or let the case slip away easily.
His introduction has already caught the attention of viewers online, with many looking forward to the face-off between Ahlawat’s Rajveer and Ajay Devgn’s Vijay.
One user wrote, “The ultimate face off between Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat is going to shatter the box office.”
Another viewer said, “#JaideepAhlawat USP of the trailer.”
Who Is Jaideep Ahlawat Playing In Drishyam 3?
Jaideep Ahlawat plays Rajveer Singh Tomar, an SP with the Crime Branch, in Drishyam: The Conclusion. His character enters the story as another major obstacle for Vijay, who once again finds himself trying to protect his family while keeping the truth buried.
“Mai aadmi nahi, shani hu. Jis par tedhi nazar pad gayi na, samjho uska kharab time shuru,” he says.
The dialogue instantly establishes Rajveer as a confident and relentless police officer.
Why Jaideep Ahlawat’s Character Could Be A Problem For Vijay
Vijay Salgaonkar has survived some incredibly difficult situations by relying on preparation, patience and an ability to anticipate what the police might do next. But the third film appears to put that strategy under greater pressure.
The trailer hints that the authorities now have “bigger evidence” against Vijay. With Rajveer Singh Tomar leading the Crime Branch angle, Vijay could have a much tougher opponent to deal with this time.
At the same time, Tabu’s Meera Deshmukh continues to pursue the truth surrounding her son’s death, while Prakash Raj’s character enters the story as a lawyer who also understands that Vijay should not be taken lightly.
This puts Vijay in a situation where he has to deal with multiple threats at once.
Drishyam 3 Cast: Ajay Devgn, Tabu And Jaideep Ahlawat Lead A New Battle
The trailer brings Ajay Devgn back as Vijay Salgaonkar and Tabu as Meera Deshmukh, while Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta also return to the franchise. Rajat Kapoor is also back as Inspector Gaitonde, a familiar face from Vijay’s earlier encounters with the law.
The new chapter expands the cast with Jaideep Ahlawat as Rajveer Singh Tomar and Prakash Raj in the role of a lawyer. The film is directed by Abhishek Pathak and backed by Star Studio18 and Panorama Studios.
