Emmerdale: Joe Tate Takes Terrifying Revenge On Ruby
Dawn’s funeral proves to be an emotional moment for everyone but Joe is struggling more than most to deal with the loss. Graham Foster arrives late which raises questions about his whereabouts while Joe finds himself unable to deliver the eulogy.
Kim Tate eventually steps in to honour her step-daughter and promises to keep the family together. But Joe cannot handle the weight of his grief and walks away from the burial.
Later, Kim confronts Graham about Joe’s absence with the pair also clashing over what the future could hold for the family.
But Joe’s grief soon takes a much darker turn. He visits a grave and makes a chilling vow to avenge Dawn’s death. His revenge plan is then revealed when Ruby Miligan wakes up to discover that she has been buried alive inside a coffin.
Trapped underground, Ruby desperately tries to escape. Her strength begins to fade and as she struggles for air, she eventually falls silent.
Joe then turns his attention to a weakened Caleb Miligan. As Caleb desperately searches for something he can use to defend himself, Joe taunts him and makes it clear that Ruby’s life is in his hands.
Caleb begs Joe to let her go but Joe refuses. He blames Ruby and Caleb for Dawn’s death and appears determined to make them pay.
Emmerdale: Vinny Dingle Finally Confesses The Truth
Vinny has been carrying the guilt of the fatal crash that killed Jimmy and Dawn and next week he finally reaches breaking point.
Unable to keep the secret any longer, Vinny finds Nicola King and tearfully admits that he was responsible for the crash.
She reveals that Vinny was responsible for the fatal crash and had been on his phone talking to Gabby at the time.
Joe’s reaction is chilling. Instead of immediately confronting Vinny, he simply stares at him in silence, leaving everyone wondering what he could do next.
Nicola panics when she discovers that Carl has found voice messages on Jimmy’s laptop. She quickly comes up with an excuse to take the laptop from him, but what exactly is she afraid he will discover?
Lewis is also left worried about what Vinny’s confession could mean for their future, while Kev tries to reassure him.
At the same time, Kev has another problem of his own. After seeing how emotional Nicola has become, he fears what will happen when she eventually discovers that he has also lied to her.
Emmerdale: Moira Worries About Cain And Sadie King
Cain and Moira’s relationship comes under pressure when Moira becomes concerned about Sadie King’s influence on her husband. She accuses Cain of deliberately keeping his cancer diagnosis from Sadie because he enjoyed having her attention.
Cain is forced to explain himself and tells Moira that Sadie had been opening up to him about the devastating loss of their child. He says he did not want to burden her with his own problems when she was already going through such a painful time.
Their conversation is interrupted when Sadie unexpectedly appears. Cain and Moira put on a united front but the situation has clearly made Moira question the closeness between her husband and Sadie.
For Cain, the moment makes his priorities clear: his loyalty remains with Moira.
Emmerdale: Sarah And Jacob Get Good News About Leyla
Sarah and Jacob Sugden are summoned to the pub by Ross Barton, who has an important update for them. The couple are relieved when Ross confirms that he does not intend to fight them for custody of Leyla.
That means Sarah and Jacob can continue raising the baby without having to prepare for a custody battle. After everything they have been dealing with, the news gives them a much-needed moment of relief.
