Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling are over the moon right now. The former Love Island host has become a mom for the second time. She shared the super exciting news on Instagram with a playful comment that read, “A new player has entered the game.”
Further, she noted, “We welcomed the most precious baby last month, unexpectedly early and with dramatic flair (wouldn’t expect anything else).
Detailing how she has been navigating the exciting phase, she continued, “I had made a 5 hour birthing playlist this time.. only played about 3 songs – ended up using it post birth. It’s a reaaally good playlist, can somebody please use it. Been enjoying baby smells, lack of sleep and scrumptious hands and wrists.”
Iain, meanwhile, also shared his happiness following the baby’s arrival. On Instagram, he posted a snap featuring a cute cream baby cardigan, hat and booties, with the cardigan that had “Littlest Living Legend” on the back.
Along with the picture, he wrote, “Say hello to our newest living legend. I always wanted someone in the house who would stay up late and watch the World Cup with me. But this feels a little excessive.”
Laura and her journalist husband Iain Stirling previously welcomed Stevie, whom they welcomed in March 2021. This time though, Laura kept her pregnancy hidden for months, only sharing it with fans on social media earlier this year in February.
In her announcement post, she dropped a bunch of photos, showing off her growing baby bump in stylish outfits including bikinis, pantsuits and T-shirts.
Her caption for the post read, “Instagram V Reality – Spoiler: It wasn’t just a big meal mama ate. She’s been cooking away! I’d like to thank stretchy pants and travel sick bags.”
Laura hosted Love Island from 2020 to 2022. She and Iain have been together since 2017. After the romance intensified, the two decided to exchange vows in 2020 at Dublin City Hall. The couple who have been together ever since, are known for keeping their life private, away from the buzz of social media.
