From Bastar Forests to the Spotlight, Women Receive Loud Applause
As the ex-insurgents moved up the ramp, kind of sure of themselves, they got met with loud applause from the crowd. That warm reaction was a real contrast to the fear and being alone they had back then, when they were still living in the conflict-hit forests of Bastar. They looked relaxed, almost at ease in the spotlight, and the women seemed to show just how much distance they have actually covered.
