The second week of May is bringing a fresh lineup of exciting OTT releases for viewers to enjoy across different streaming platforms. From gripping crime thrillers and emotional dramas to light-hearted family web series and entertaining films, there’s something for everyone to watch between May 11 and May 17, 2026. Popular streaming giants like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and several other OTT platforms are set to premiere a mix of highly anticipated movies and web series for audiences this week.

C4 Cinta – Netflix

Release Date: 12 May, 2026

In this Tamil-language movie, four entangled love affairs take place against the backdrop of colourful cityscapes of Malaysia and Singapore, with love, memories, and cultural expectations combining in surprising ways that result in some delightful twists of fate. The approaching marriage of Hari sets off the memories of his past and brings together an ensemble of close friends whose relationship is complicated by many secrets.

Bad Thoughts – Netflix

A dark comedy series created by comedian Tom Segura, Bad Thoughts tells a twisted story full of strange situations and sharp humour in each episode. The show mixes everyday awkward moments with bizarre, over-the-top scenarios that make you laugh while also making you uncomfortable.

The Lord Of The Rings The War Of The Rohirrim – Jiohotstar

Release Date : 13 May, 2026

Taking place almost two hundred years before the events in The Lord of the Rings, The War of the Rohirrim will explore the history of Rohan, highlighting one of its most iconic kings, Helm Hammerhand, along with his fiery daughter, Héra. When an arranged marriage goes wrong, Helm’s rash decision brings him face-to-face with the blood-thirsty Dunlending clan, led by Wulf. In the midst of battle, Héra takes charge and uses her cunning skills to lead her people through a tumultuous time of war and strife. Under the direction of Kenji Kamiyama, this animated movie promises to bring an exciting new twist to everyone’s favourite Tolkien world.

American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden – Netflix

Release Date: 14 May, 2026

In the highly engaging three-part series, the decade-long quest for the world’s most notorious terrorist is explored. The documentary examines the process of intelligence gathering and political  military intervention that ultimately led to the U.S. Navy SEALs’ raid on Osama bin Laden in 2011 in Abbottabad, Pakistan, which saw bin Laden’s death. Rare footage and exclusive interviews with high-ranking officials in the CIA as well as from the administrations of George W. Bush and Barack Obama add insight into the global hunt for bin Laden.

Fred and Rose West – Netflix

“A British Horror Story” is a scary three-part docuseries, revealing one of the most gruesome cases of a couple of serial killers in the history of Britain. The docuseries features an investigation into the crimes committed by the Wests for about two decades, during which they have tortured and killed more than 12 young girls from 1967 to 1987. The documentary provides viewers with information based on new recordings of policemen and unknown archival material from witnesses, relatives of the victims and investigators of this case known as “the House of Horrors”.

Bet – Netflix

Release Date: 15  May

This is a daring live action adaptation of the immensely popular manga, Kakegurui, or simply, “Bet”. This show takes place inside a prestigious boarding school where the social standing of students is determined not by their academic performance but by their proficiency in gambling. The story revolves around Yumeko, a new mysterious girl who transfers to the school from Japan. She is brash and bold in her ways and always ready to play any risky game.

Love, Death and Robots Volume 4

Release Date : 15 May, 2026

The Love, Death & Robots series has come back for the fourth season consisting of ten different animated episodes. The show continues to follow the same premise of offering tales about love, death, and technology. For the upcoming fourth season, viewers will have an opportunity to see episodes ranging from intergalactic wars and intelligent robots to peculiar shows and frightening creatures in outer space. The series, directed by David Fincher and Tim Miller and overseen by Jennifer Yuh Nelson, offers intriguing episodes such as “The Screaming of the Tyrannosaur” featuring genetically-modified warriors riding tyrannosaurs, and “Can’t Stop” as an unusual depiction of the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert at Slane Castle.

Maranamass – SONYLIVE

In this Malayalam black comedy, satire, suspense and criticism is woven into a movie that makes for one hell of a ride! This movie features Basil Joseph in the role of Luke P.P., a ‘sigma man’ type of influencer who has turned into a village pest by posting ridiculous stuff such as listing the police station on OLX. After a murder in which the victims were all old men was committed, the person responsible was termed the ‘banana killer’. However, Luke becomes the main culprit. His ride on a late-night bus introduces him to more than just Jessie (played by Anishma Anilkumar).
